Doll ideas

So one of the things I've really gotten into this year is collecting toys and also a bunch of toys. Not just one brand. The picture above is of art of a doll I got. Shes called Sis Swing and shes from the LOL collection. I got doubles of this girl. (They come in blind balls so you don't know whom your getting)

Because shes a double I want to customize this one and make it different. I'm thinking of giving her really cool purple hair with sparkles. I'm also trying to think of what outfit would be really cute to do.

These are my ideas so far:

Fairy Home

Fairy homes are lovely little homes for fairies to live in. They are better outdoors and even better if there is running water. I love these little homes, they are adorable and super cute.  If you believe in fairies then you can create a home for them to dwell, and if you don't believe in fairies, well you can still create this little home for decoration in your garden. 

I believe in fairies so that is whom I'd create the home for. 

I found out about fairy home maybe 2 years ago, and I've always found them really interesting. I really like the the designs people come up with for fairy homes. I also really like the organic shapes and materials.

You also can use stuff to build a fairy home likes an old doll house, milk or juice jugs. You also could try using clay to try and make a home. 

 There is some warnings like you shouldn't use materials that can pose a risk to your local wild life. So don't use things that could be eaten by animals like cats, or small rodents or birds that could pose a risk to their bodies and health. Fairy homes that also have stuff like nails or other objects could end up injuring gnomes.  

You also don't want to make the fairy homes super huge. Like a deluxe mini mansions. Fairy's and gnomes like really simple, humble and discreet homes.

Things that also can be used for a fairy home is pin needles, pine cones, branches, bark, feathers, moss, sea shells, pebbles. acorns, ect. Just go out to your forest or garden and pick up things that are dried and have fallen off naturally.  You also can thank trees when you get there branches if you want too. Which is just quietly to yourself say thank you to the tree.

If you go to the beach remember to rinse of stuff that you pick up from the beach, because if it came from the ocean it'll have salt water, which isn't good for plants.

I know I will make a cute fairy home someday. 

Crocheting

I'm going to start doing crocheting this year, I've bought the needles I need and the yarn I've just been putting it off. I feel really anxious about doing things I've never done before. But I think something like this might even help with battling my depression. (Which has started.)

I've tried to do a bit of it last night and it was okay, I think my first project I wanna try and make a little square and use it for my doll house. So thats my first project. After that I'd like to be able to make myself a scarf, some cute clothes and some other cute goodies. I've seen that people can even crochet stuffies! and I'd like to crochet some clothes for my calico critters if possible.  :3

 I'm going to do more of it.

bracelet

My bracelets I've made. The pink one is a lot smaller so I might try and re-make it and make it a bit longer.
I also wanna make a purple bracelet too.

Seaweed Art

Last thursday I talked about doing sea weed art for class, I ended up getting mine back. We did a layer of what I think was glue, but I'm not sure. It was to give the seaweed a shine so it would look wet. And this is my finished piece of art. 

Its my first time doing seaweed art, and I did a bunch of different types of seaweed.

I really enjoyed doing this art for class, I think during my summer I might do a bit more. With different types of seaweed and see what I come up with.

Perlers Project

I really want to get into making perlers. I think next month or the month after I'm going to buy myself some. I found some patterns on pinterest I want to try.  I've been collecting ideas from hello kitty, sailor moon, other cartoons, anime and things like hello kitty. I think it would also be a good idea because I have pen pals and I like to hand make stuff to send to them.  I think the perlers might be cute to do. Same with friendship bracelets and other things.  

My boyfriend also has expressed interest in them too. And I have a few things myself I'd like to make too! So it'll be really nice to have them.  

Here are some that I've liked and I have saved. 

I really like the Harley Quinn one. I'm going to try and find a Wonder Woman one too, because I love Wonder Woman. I also would like to make a few cute bows, or maybe something that has to do with Studio Ghibli. :3
